Our Mission
Midwest Open Source Alliance (MOSA) promotes the education, support, and development of Drupal and related open source software within the Midwest Drupal community and beyond.
What We Do
We serve as a fiscal sponsor for open source software events throughout the Midwest and beyond, providing financial infrastructure, tax-exempt status, and organizational support so that community-driven events can focus on their mission.
In addition, we support meetups and initiatives that improve the event experience for both speakers and attendees, especially in areas that promote inclusivity and accessibility.
Our Organization
MOSA is an Illinois nonprofit corporation. We were granted federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization status in 2018.

History
MOSA was founded to support the growing Midwest Drupal community by providing a stable organizational home for camps, summits, and other events. Over time, our fiscal sponsorship has expanded beyond the Midwest to include open source events across the country.
